PipeworkHQ customer manual

Operating instructions / Edition 1.2.3

PipeworkHQ
Customer manual

For UK plumbers and heating engineers. Set up your business, take a job from enquiry to payment, and find the right instruction when you need it.

Reviewed 2026-09-08Online and A4 print edition

Example only. Diagrams explain the job steps. Screenshots show the real application with made-up customer details; they do not show a live customer account, delivered message or completed payment. The PDF is the general edition. Print the signed-in manual when you want it to include your current setup summary.

The job at a glance

  1. 1Enquiry
  2. 2Customer & property
  3. 3Job & quote
  4. 4Acceptance
  5. 5Diary & work
  6. 6Certificate
  7. 7Invoice
  8. 8Payment & follow-up

A job, a quote, an appointment and an invoice are separate records. Creating one does not automatically complete the others. Check the result at the end of each procedure.

How the records fit together

Customer

The person or company paying for the work.

Property

The place where you carry out the work. One customer can have several properties.

Job

The work at that property. Quotes, visits, evidence and invoices refer back to it.

If something has not appeared

  1. Did a success message appear?

If not, read the error and check your connection before trying again.

  2. Was it saved in the right business?

Check the selected business, then the record list and any filters.

  3. Saved but not received?

Check the sending or payment status. A saved draft is not a sent message or a paid invoice.

  4. Still unclear?

Keep the record reference and use Help & support. Check the record before repeating a send or payment action.
