20 places available — UK heating engineers only

Founding Engineers Programme

Free Professional tier for 12 months. In exchange, we ask for honest feedback, a named review, and a short case study — so we can build the right product, with the people who use it on the tools every day.

A straight-up note from the founder

I’m Allan Drummond — accessibility-led technologist, director of ADAI Digital Ltd, and the person who built PipeworkHQ. I am nota gas engineer, and I won’t pretend to be.

PipeworkHQ exists because I watched people I know — heating engineers, one-person businesses — lose hours every week to paperwork, certificates, chasing invoices, and switching between four separate apps. I built a single system to fix that, grounded in the actual UK standards: Gas Safe, BS 6891, Part L, IGEM, MTD.

What I need from founding engineers is the thing I can’t manufacture: honest, daily use by people on the tools. What actually works. What’s missing. What’s just wrong. That feedback shapes the product for everyone else.

This is a genuine exchange — free Professional access for a year, in return for your honest time. No pressure, no lock-in, no contract. If it’s not working for you after a month, you walk away, no questions asked.

What you get — free for 12 months

Built with accessibility in mind

Voice-first, where it matters. On-the-tools use means eyes-busy and hands-dirty. We design for dictation and screen readers from the start.
Dyslexia-friendly layout. Clear headings, short paragraphs, high-contrast text. No jargon where plain English works.
No contract, cancel any time. After the 12-month founding period you choose whether to continue at the standard rate. No automatic billing, no lock-in.

What we ask in return

Three lightweight commitments, on your schedule.

Honest feedback

A short monthly check-in — five minutes on what you used, what broke, and what’s missing. Direct replies to the founder, no survey walls.

A named review

A real review — positive where it’s earned, honest where it isn’t. We will quote your name and trade. No fabricated testimonials.

A short case study

Around month 6, a short written case study (we can draft it from a call and you approve it). Covers: your trade, how you use PipeworkHQ, what changed.

Who this is for

  • Working UK domestic heating engineer — Gas Safe registered, actively taking jobs
  • Sole trader, small team, or recently qualified — any size welcome
  • Willing to give honest feedback (good and bad) over 12 months
  • Based in England, Scotland, or Wales (UK Gas Safe registration required)

We have 20 founding places. If demand exceeds that we will maintain a waiting list and open more places as capacity allows.
